The lovely and amazing folks behind the Mid-America Restaurant Expo landed me an interview with the one and only Richard Blais this evening. He is spectacular – cool, calm, engaging, and patient! I could go on and on about it but that’s not necessary because I recorded it all! WOOHOOO! There are a few things I want to share about my first telephone interview (cue high pitched squeals of happiness).
- Bad News: Prepare for a little bit of feedback/static. Good News: It’s only twice. At :46 and 1:01. After that it’s smooth sailing.
- Richard praises my segue skills at 1:49. This dude has to participate in a million interviews a month so it blew my mind that he mentioned it. Such a great compliment. Thank you sir!
