Nearly 16 years later and I’m still spellbound by the tremendous amount of talent tucked inside this city I adore. We are not lacking in avenues available to explore our creative style and appreciate the visionary approach of others.  Columbus College Art & Design (CCAD) is a hub of fashion delight and pure imagination. One event that always leaves me on the edge of my seat clapping for more is the CCAD Fashion Show. This year’s event is taking place on May 11, 2018 at the Convention Center and is going to be insane.

CCAD knows how we like to be a little fancy and has a limited supply of VIP tickets that include:

  • Valet parking
  • Pre-show VIP cocktail reception
  • Reserved seating for the runway show
  • Post-show VIP jazz lounge & dance party

General Admission tickets include:

  • Standing room admission for the runway show
  • Two drink tickets
  • Admission to the post-show dance party

Those attending the 2018 affair will be impressed by Erica Rodney’s Kanekalon collection, which is made from artificial black hair. I’m am quite excited for the unveiling of Chelsea Funk’s adaptive wear, created for sweet little ones born with disabilities. Luyao Zhang’s Pale Vanity collection is sure to wow the crowd, as we marvel at the free flowing patterns constructed from knit and macramé techniques passed down generation, after generation in her family.

And there is so much more to look forward to at this year’s fashion show. I can’t wait to see you on the 11th of May. Until then, please enjoy this delightful circa 1993 clip of the CCAD Fashion Show!

All proceeds from the evening benefit the general scholarship fund, which nurtures developing talent across CCAD’s 12 majors. Please contact with questions.
